Refinancing rates for student loans with a fixed rate fall to a new record low

Prices for well-qualified borrowers using the Credible marketplace to order Refinance Student Loans in 10-year fixed-rate loans fell again to a record low in the week of June 7, 2021.
For borrowers with a credit score of 720 or greater who used the Credible marketplace to select a lender, in the week of June 7th:
- The interest rates on 10-year fixed-rate loans averaged 3.57%, down from 3.77% the previous week and 4.38% a year ago. The record low for 10-year fixed-rate loans is 3.57%, the first time in the week of May 17, 2021.
- The interest rates for 5-year floating rate loans averaged 2.92%, down slightly from 2.96% in the previous week, but higher than 2.71% in the previous year. This is the lowest level since five-year floating rate loans in 2021.
