Arsenal sign Real Madrid’s Dani Ceballos on loan

Arsenal have signed new Real Madrid midfielders Dani Ceballos borrowed, the club announced on Friday.

Sources told ESPN that Mikel Arteta had been in regular contact with Ceballos during the summer break, and it was a combination of that and his friendship with a number of his teammates that convinced him to stay with the Gunners.

Ceballos began pre-season training at Madrid but then flew to London to meet with Arsenal ahead of the first Premier League game against Fulham on September 12.
The midfielder impressed in the second half of the 2019-20 season, ending the season with 24 league games and starting in the FA Cup final win over Chelsea last month.
